Role Overview:

As a Pentest Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the execution of pentest projects for our diverse clientele. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and exceptional client communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at coordinating with both internal teams and external clients to ensure the successful delivery of pentest engagements.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of pentest projects from kickoff to report delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining clear and proactive communication to address inquiries, provide updates, and manage expectations effectively.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal pentest teams to allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor progress towards project milestones.
Sales Assistance: Assist the sales team on calls as a technical resource when needed.
Technical Oversight: Leverage your pentest experience to provide guidance and support to the team, offering insights into testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment techniques, and remediation strategies.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project delivery or client satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting: Ensure thorough documentation of project requirements, testing procedures, findings, and recommendations, preparing comprehensive reports for clients and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices within the project management function, contributing to the enhancement of our pentest methodologies and service offerings.
Remote Collaboration: Thrive in a remote work environment, leveraging digital communication tools and platforms to foster effective collaboration, maintain team cohesion, and support flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Strong understanding of penetration testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and team members.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is highly desirable.
Must live in the United States.
