ModMed is hiring a driven Senior PowerBI Developer to join our team and drive the development and deployment of large-scale, customer-facing PowerBI solutions. As a Senior PowerBI Developer at ModMed, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing how our customers utilize data to drive decision-making and enhance patient engagement within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Your Role:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of PowerBI solutions for customer-facing applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop actionable insights to support business objectives.
• Design and optimize data models, ETL processes, and visualizations to meet business needs and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of PowerBI solutions, identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in PowerBI, Spark, Python, and Databricks, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance our analytics capabilities.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and deploying large-scale PowerBI solutions for customer-facing applications.
• Proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and building interactive dashboards and reports.
• Strong programming skills in Spark and Python, with experience in developing data pipelines and processing large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar big data processing platforms.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational databases, and SQL.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Certification in PowerBI or related technologies is a plus.
