We have a wonderful opportunity to join our CITY Furniture Technology team. As the IT Security Senior Engineer, the primary function of this position is to help CITY Furniture evaluate, implement, and monitor the information security environment in accordance with company’s information security management system framework and standards. This role focuses on the system management, strategic planning, and deployment of IT security solutions. The IT Security Senior Engineer is responsible to help safeguard our organization from an ever-growing cyber threat. This position will actively participate in the selection, testing, implementation, and operations of security tools, policies and procedures. This role acts as a mentor to the IT Security Engineer.
This position is also responsible for monitoring and responding to security alerts. You will investigate and resolve security incidents using assigned IT security tools and community open source tools. You will generate incident cases and escalate to teams in accordance with time and severity-based service level agreements. You will perform simple to advanced changes within the designated IT security toolset. You will process system upgrades and improvements to the CITY Furniture security infrastructure. You will update security policies and procedures as part of the continuous improvement process. You will perform tasks associated with the installation, turn up, and maintenance of IT security infrastructure.

Job Requirements
Qualifications Required
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent information security experience required.
Work Experience and Skills:
Five (5) years of experience as a dedicated fulltime information security resource within an enterprise environment.
Computer Knowledge:
Below is the list of the technologies and software applications that are applicable. Candidate should be considered a subject matter expert in a handful of these with working knowledge of the rest. In addition, a solid understanding of security fundamentals is expected (cryptography, least privilege access, segregation of duties, network segmentation, egress filtering, and security metrics).
