Palm Beach IT Association merges with Palm Beach Tech

The Palm Beach Tech Association announced today that the Palm Beach IT Association will be merging with its operations by the end of August.

“We’ve worked passionately to bring together our tech community, and now we can work towards building a stronger tech hub together,” Joe Russo, Executive Director of the Palm Beach Tech Association.

The Palm Beach IT Association (PBIT) was founded in 2003 to serve the needs of the local IT industry and currently has seventy four (74) individual members in the fields of information technology throughout South Florida.

“We’re excited to work with Palm Beach Tech to continue PBIT’s synonymous mission together,” said Harold Gridlestone, Director of the Palm Beach IT Association.

PBIT’s monthly gatherings will be merged with Palm Beach Tech’s IT Council, a group of leading Information Technology leaders from throughout South Florida.

“We look forward to bettering the IT industry by empowering people through collaboration,” Paul Vedder, Managing Director of VX IT and Chair of Palm Beach Tech’s IT Council.

This follows Palm Beach Tech’s announcement of its doubling in size and its merger with StartupPOP’s Boca Raton Tech Startups Meetup earlier this year. The nonprofit organization currently has over 150 corporate members from Jupiter to Boca Raton.
