Taking place at Nova Southeastern University in Davie on Saturday, April 15th, this year marks the 18th annual edition of DevCon (formerly known as Code Camp). The event is part of the broader “South Florida Tech Month” in April which includes a host of innovation-focused conferences and events stretching from Miami to Palm Beach.

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

What is SoFlo DevCon?

A software developer’s conference and a FREE one-day geek fest with speakers presenting on the most requested topics in development!

What makes it unique?

This is a conference put on by the community and for the community whwre you can hear from leaders, peers, and even give your own talk. It’s always free to attendees from South Florida!

How does it work?

Register for FREE. Show up at 8:00 AM. Get some breakfast. Choose the tracks and sessions you’d like to attend. Get lunch mid-day and listen to our keynote. Close out the day around 5:15 pm with raffles!

What do I need?

All you really need is yourself, but you can feel free to bring a laptop, headphones, and an open mind and eagerness to learn. Oh, and bring your resume if you are looking for an opportunity.

What’s provided?

Breakfast is provided to those early risers who get there by 8:30 am. Free tshirt and swag bag to the first 300 guests in attendance. Access to over 70 educational sessions. Lunch is provided mid-day with access to main keynote. Raffle tickets are drawn at the event of the day around 5:15 pm.

Do I have to be a developer?

Definitely not! We welcome designers, project managers, creatives, entrepreneurs, founders, and anyone connected to the tech and innovation community in South Florida.
