We are looking for a seasoned Director of Engineering & Systems to join our team overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of all systems within Social Mobile. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the efficient operation, security, and scalability of the organization’s technological infrastructure. With a deep understanding of Social Mobile’s strategic objectives, you will define a path forward and execute the necessary steps to achieve success.
Responsibilities:
- Systems Planning: Ability to map out and strategically plan go to market systems development whether with third parties or directly.
- System Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing stability, reliability, and performance of critical software systems, including Microsoft 365 applications, Business Dynamic ERP systems, HubSpot CRM, and other enterprise software solutions.
- Software Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software systems through performance tuning, optimization of configurations, and implementation of best practices.
- Integration Management: Coordinate the integration of new software solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data consistency across platforms.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and internal stakeholders, resolving software-related issues in a timely manner.
- Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols and best practices to safeguard software systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software configurations, system integrations, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity of operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and software updates to proactively identify opportunities for system enhancement and optimization. Own and drive all organizational ISO compliance for 27001 and 9001.
- Employees will be required to adhere to Social Mobile’s information security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field. Masters in Computer Systems or Computer Science is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience with Microsoft office, APIs Integration, Systems Management, Product Development, & System Development and Integration. Also, 10+ years within the relevant areas.
- Proficiency in administering Microsoft applications (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics), ERP systems, and other enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with security principles and practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM.
- Deep technical knowledge of mobile device management system and ecosystem.
- Cloud Architecture experience with development on AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in Dynamics ERP system management and development
- Deep technical understanding of APIs and Systems.
