We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join the Social Mobile team. This critical role will be accountable for redeveloping and executing the sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth for the company. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise mobility, market trends, and addressing client’s needs through solution selling. You will work across multiple stakeholder groups within Social Mobile, helping to drive strategy based on client and market requirements. This position requires you to create and own the go-to-market plans for existing and new products and act as the subject matter expert for our clients and partners, while supporting our market engagement needs through training and support. You will manage the organization that supports all our partners, direct clients, sales channels, and existing customer base. The ideal candidate must have formal sales training, experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams, and a track record of achieving aggressive sales targets. You should have industry-wide relationships that you can leverage to grow the company and ensure continued success.

 

Responsibilities:

Identify target market segments through research and competitor analysis
Design and implement new sales strategy that includes consulting firms and government/defense vertical build out
Participate in building, packaging, and price setting with members of management to meet market needs
Structure and negotiate new business relationships including key pricing, commercial, and operational terms as part of complex contracting processes
Develop and implement new sales processes, pipelines, account planning, proposals, renewals, revenue goals, and continuous sales engagement
Create and manage sales team incentives to achieve the right metrics and behaviors
Overhaul sales processes and dashboards through Hubspot CRM to accurately report on sales performance, pipeline growth, and probability/close rate
Lead by example in market presence to develop new accounts and opportunities
Prepare sales performance reports for senior management
Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from client acquisition to engagement, and payment to satisfaction
Develop long term and strategic relationships at the most senior levels with prospects and clients
Manage and build current sales directors and their respective (direct & telco) verticals
Lead all sales directors in their day-to-day responsibilities, and assist in their training, career growth, and development objectives
Support direct and channel sales efforts to drive more business and opportunities
Work cross functionally with Finance, Professional Services, Client Success, and other internal departments to deliver client expectations, gauge client satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities
Develop revenue growth strategies with the leadership team and execute sales strategies to achieve growth goals
Be the voice of the client – communicate client needs and requirements to help define our roadmap
Drive ongoing account management in partnership with Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional expansion opportunities
Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance and own assessment of the competitive landscape and technologies to help formulate and refine product/ GTM/ service/ support strategies
Drive attendance to industry events, webinars, and tradeshows
Actively participate in online thought leadership through active promotion of company events, values, technology, capabilities, and business wins across social media platforms
Employees will be required to adhere to Social Mobile’s information security policies and procedures

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in field of business or communication
Must provide Proof of Right to Work in the United States on the I9 Form
15+ years of B2B executive leadership experience, working with enterprise clients
Experience running a global sales and marketing teams with multiple avenues for attaining revenue goals (channel, direct, telco, etc.)
10+ Years of proven experience managing sales and marketing teams
10+ Years of driving B2B marketing results
10+ of global business experience
10+ Years experience with HubSpot or other CRM
Knowledge and experience in the managed mobility service industry
Prior experience selling MDM, mobility management services, and TEM preferred
A proven track record of leading sales teams, driving growth and results
Proven negotiation and closing proficiency
Ability to easily move others to action by planning, motivating, organizing, and overseeing work being done
Ability to channel different points of view, creating a team atmosphere while achieving key objectives
Provide a good balance of risk taking and judgment
Proven track record of developing Go to Market (GTM) strategies (B2B healthcare preferred)
Proven experience managing partners
Proven experience in building relationships with Fortune clients/partners
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Monday.com or project management platform preferred
Experience with Android Enterprise
Preference given to candidates with extensive enterprise mobility/telecommunications industry experience
Travel expectation 25%
