Endeavor Miami, a key player in innovation and entrepreneurship in South Florida, announced their newest ScaleUp program Fall 2024 cohort which includes 12 founders and 10 high-growth companies who are setting the stage for a thriving future in Florida.
As the first U.S. branch of the global Endeavor network, established with the backing of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Endeavor Miami continues its mission to support high-impact entrepreneurs who are transforming industries and fueling economic growth in Florida and beyond. Endeavor Miami is committed to nurturing a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing these leaders with exceptional access to mentorship, funding, and a worldwide network of peers and industry professionals. This support system aims to boost their impact, accelerate their growth, and establish them as pioneers reshaping the economic landscape.
The Fall 2024 group reflects a commitment to diversity and resilience, with over 60% of the participants having at least one Hispanic or Latino founder, and 40% of the founders being women. This highlights Endeavor Miami’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and representation. With many of these entrepreneurs recently choosing Miami as their base, the city’s appeal as a hub for top talent and innovative ventures continues to grow.
The companies in this cohort represent a variety of industries, including Premium Beverages, Skincare, Media, Education Technology, and Marketplaces, showcasing the dynamic economic landscape of South Florida. Together, these businesses have shown impressive momentum, achieving an average growth rate of 200% in the past year. Their adaptability and innovation in overcoming challenges highlight their potential to drive significant change on both local and global scales. Their achievements further establish South Florida as a vital launchpad for companies with global aspirations and influence.
