Graph neural networks (GNNs) and their extensions have made large gains in prediction and classification across many fields, including proteomics, medical imaging, recommender systems, and social networks. In this talk, we’ll review the basics of graph neural networks, implement one with Python, and touch on recent topological extensions of GNNs within the medical field.
