Purpose: Oversees and responsible for setting the creative planning and design direction for all corporate, association, resort, and development projects in alignment with the all company goals and guidelines. Coordinating with project teams ensuring all projects are completed on time and within approved project budgets with scopes at a level of quality consistent with or exceeding Bluegreen’s Design Standards. Responsibilities:• Creating and developing ideas, site analysis, concept planning and master planning in alignment with company goals and guidelines. Providing expertise in space planning, furniture/material specification and potential operational concerns.• Leads design review process with all key stake holders – internal and external.• Ensure that Bluegreen Design Standards are properly maintain and updated on an annually. Review of standards for improvements/changes are based upon current industry standards or resort operations concerns. All recommendations must be approved prior to implementation.• Participates in the creative design process assuring all projects are being designed to budget with compliance of all standards and processes.• Participates in review of all development projects assuring compliance with requirements established in Bluegreen’s Design Standards. All deviations to be properly communicated to all key stakeholders.• Prepare and produce all necessary reporting related to ongoing designs and project reviews• Communicates effectively with all project teams, executives, and vendors related to Bluegreen’s Design Standards and future design goals.• Demonstrates a willingness to improve related skills, responsiveness to directions and constructive feedback, showing flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments.• Other duties as assigned. Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design• 10 years of Hospitality Design Experience• Registered Architect, Engineering or Interior Design Preferred• Preferred AutoCAD, Photoshop and related computer programs• Intermediate to advanced competence with Microsoft Office Suite• Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively without daily supervision.• Customer service driven with the ability to execute.• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.• Flexibility to be proactive and reactive to client’s needs.• Skilled in specification of multiple furniture lines.• Ability to effectively facilitate meetings.• Excellent organizational skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Our goal is to improve the quality of work/life by providing equal employment opportunities for all candidates and team members.
